Military Veterans Resume Review Terms of Service
1. Purpose - Davidson Avionics (the “Company”) offers a complimentary Resume‑Review Service (“Service”) exclusively to United States military veterans. The Service is provided solely as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute a job posting, recruitment effort, or employment opportunity.
2. Eligibility - To use the Service, a participant must:
• Be a U.S. military veteran (honorably discharged or otherwise released from active duty).
• Submit a resume that is solely for the purpose of receiving feedback and editing suggestions.
The Company reserves the right to verify eligibility and to decline any submission that does not meet these criteria.
3. Nature of the Service - The Service is free of charge Submission of a resume does not create an employment application, nor does it establish any contractual relationship beyond the terms set out herein. The Company provides general feedback, formatting suggestions, and editorial advice; it does not guarantee placement, interview opportunities, or any specific outcome.
4. No Guarantee of Employment - The veteran acknowledges and agrees that:
• Participation in the Service does not guarantee employment, interview invitations, or any hiring decision by Davidson Avionics or any third party.
• The Company makes no representations regarding the effectiveness of the feedback or the likelihood of securing employment.
5. Confidentiality & Use of Submitted Materials
• All resumes and accompanying information submitted by the veteran are treated as confidential and will be used exclusively for providing the Service.
• The Company will not share, sell, or otherwise disclose the veteran’s resume to third parties without explicit written consent, except as required by law.
• The veteran retains all ownership rights to their resume; the Company receives no license to use the resume beyond the scope of the Service.
6. Hold‑Harmless / Indemnification - The veteran agrees to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Davidson Avionics, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Indemnitees”)
from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
• The veteran’s submission of their resume or any information therein.
• The veteran’s reliance on the feedback provided.
• Any alleged infringement of third‑party rights resulting from the resume content.
7. Limitation of Liability - To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Indemnitees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination - The Company may terminate a veteran’s access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without liability, by providing written notice to the veteran.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution - These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, in Bexar County, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles. By using the Service, the veteran is waiving all claims to any disputes.
10. Amendments - The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Service after any such amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The most current version will be posted on the Company’s website. By submitting a resume for review, the veteran acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
